While flood protection construction is underway on the Elbe Bike Path in Dresden-Kaditz, we recommend using the Elbe Bike Path’s former route as a detour. Between Kaditz and Mickten, this route follows the bike path between Sternstraße and Elbepark toward Riegelplatz, and from there continues along Grimmstraße to Altkaditz.
Please be sure to watch out for yourself and other road users between Elbepark and Riegelplatz. You will cross the highway on-ramp twice along this stretch. The route follows bike paths alongside the road and passes through traffic lights.
