The Saxony State Dam Authority is carrying out construction work on the section of dyke near Pülswerda from 19.1.2026 to mid-2027. During this time, safe travel on the Elbe cycle path between Graditz and Pülswerda is not guaranteed. Please use the signposted detour via the roadside cycle path along the B183 and via Neusorge and Triestewitz.
The village of Pülswerda and the Schlosshotel Pülswerda can still be reached from the Elbe cycle path near Kathewitz.
