Directions
From the parking lot at the "Marie Louise Stolln" visitor mine, head southwest across the crossroads. On the right-hand side of the park, a footpath leads along to the Kirchberg. As the name suggests, the Evangelical Lutheran Berggießhübel Church is located here. A little later, the path leads through the housing estate and across the main road in a south-easterly direction. The signs to the "Eulensteinen" and "Eibischsteinen" via the green dot help with orientation. Unfortunately, forestry work has left clear traces on this section of the trail, which passes through a beautiful forest. There are large stones here, overgrown with moss, which look as if they have fallen out of a giant's pocket. All around, there are no signs of larger rocks. It is therefore a beautiful place, but unfortunately it has suffered greatly from recent forestry work.
Shortly before Bahra, there is a small, private game reserve at the edge of the forest and in a beautiful clearing. The detour to Bahra takes you past detached houses. Here it is important to keep to the right at all times, choosing the right path at every fork in the road.
Once you reach the historic iron road, the path only leads you straight ahead. When the first signs of spring appear here, you can hear the birds chirping and the light shining through the forest. In Berggießhübel, you then have to walk a short distance along the "S173" before turning left onto a small access path to the "Am Kaffeeberg" road.
