Directions

The tour starts at Dittersbacher Markt and leads along the main road past the church with its Silbermann organ. Cross the Wesenitz and turn left into the street "An der Mühle", which you follow keeping left until the Wesenitztalweg begins on your right. Walk along this to Helmsdorf. Past Helmsdorf Castle, the hike leads right along Wilschdorfer Straße to Wesenitzstraße. It is only a short distance to the right, then you immediately turn right again into Alte Helmsdorfer Straße until Bahnhofstraße branches off to the left. The path leads past the railway station. If you like, you can stop off at the Reinholz ice cream parlour. Bahnhofstraße joins Hauptstraße, which you cross to follow Porschendorfer Straße for a while. At the Elbersdorf agricultural co-operative, the path continues to the right into Elbersdorfer Straße. Cross the Wesenitz and immediately turn right onto the path along the small river. The route continues past the Teufelskanzel and along the Wesenitz back to the starting point.
