Our holiday home Elbufer 83 is located in the Bad Schandau district of Postelwitz, directly on the Elbe river. The house is surrounded by a large garden with a meadow and shady old trees and offers a beautiful view over the Elbe and the landscape of Saxon Switzerland. The apartments offer an ideal starting point for your activities in Saxon Switzerland, so many hiking routes are practically on the doorstep. The building itself was renovated in winter 2017/2018 and converted into a beautiful holiday home with two bright, modern and timeless holiday apartments. We have been renting our two apartments since summer 2018. The history of the house goes back to 1850, probably many years earlier. It can be assumed that the building was formerly used as a residential and small farmhouse and has undergone numerous small changes over the years.
