At the Pirna Distillery in the Pirna Brewery “Zum Gießer,” local fruits and herbs are transformed into fine fruit brandies and spirits. Those interested can watch the master distiller at work during the distillation process or book private tours with tastings.

From Dresden Pillnitz, it’s only 6 km toward Bastei. If you’re coming via the A17 highway, take the “Pirna” exit, cross the Elbe River on the Sachsenbrücke bridge, and continue to the “Neustadt i. Sa.” exit. At the first intersection, turn toward “Neustadt i. Sa.” and then continue toward Bastei. The distillery/brewery is located on the right.
