Our inn is located in the centre of the district of Hertigswalde, about 2000 metres from the market square in Sebnitz. Hiking trails into the beautiful landscape of Saxon Switzerland start directly behind our house. The house is one of the oldest still existing inns in the city and can look back on an exciting history.
We focus on good and varied Saxon cuisine, preferring regional and environmentally friendly products.
What is a beer garden at Gasthof Hertigswalde in summer turns into an atmospherically illuminated winter terrace with a fire bowl, mulled wine and punch in the cold season. Perfect for setting the mood for a romantic dinner. The highlight of the menu from January onwards is skrei: a particularly aromatic winter cod, fresh from the Lofoten Islands.
