The little penguin hatches from its egg and begins to discover the world around him. He waddles, hops, and stumbles about. But—oh no! He stumbles, slips, and gets blown away. He tries again, but fails time and time again. No matter what he tries—nothing seems to go quite right for him. A sea lion and an albatross try to cheer him up with their tricks. But even the little penguin’s efforts to imitate them fail. But when he swims off all by himself on an ice floe and things get dangerous, he discovers that there’s something he’s really good at too…
