Mulled wine tour of the underground lake

Enjoy a warming mulled wine or tea by the underground lake during the Advent season. For groups, the offer is also available all year round by appointment.

Once your group has arrived at our visitor mine in Berggießhübel, each guest is first given a helmet. Then the guided tour through the "Marie Louise Stolln" begins. During a varied tour, the group experiences the exciting world underground, learns interesting facts about the work and life of miners in the past and interesting facts about the geology between the Osterz and Elbe Sandstone Mountains. After about 60 minutes, you will reach the Mother of God camp, the former main mining site for iron ore. Here, mulled wine awaits the group in the romantic ambience of the underground lake.

Our tip: Take a guided hike after your tour and then stop off at one of the restaurants in our twin spa town.
