Elblandia: ADVENT! – FESTIVE CLOSING CONCERT

The sound of brass instruments and the melodies they play hold a special fascination during this time of year. Childhood memories come alive; it feels as warm and cozy as candlelight. For many people, it has now become a cherished tradition to seek refuge on the “island of longing” that is Harmonic Brass during the sometimes stressful Advent season. In this concert by the five brass musicians, you’ll find everything you could wish for in terms of atmosphere as you prepare for Christmas. Chief arranger and trumpeter Hans Zellner has taken plenty of time this year to craft this moving and beautiful Advent program.
