Woodworking Craft Class for Grandchildren with Their Grandparents
This course focuses on spending time together. Children ages five and up can work with their grandparents to bring their own ideas to life using wood. For example, they can make pendants or necklaces from tree branch slices. Paints, decorative beads, colorful ribbons, and pens are provided. Those who wish can carve designs into the pendants. Beforehand, there will be an age-appropriate introduction to using carving knives. Working on a block of wood is also an option.
The course takes place in the workshop at Konrad Hahnewald Elementary School in Hohnstein. The session lasts two and a half hours. Up to six pairs can participate.
