• For organizational reasons, this hike can only be booked up to 7 days before the arrival date.
• We recommend sturdy ankle-high hiking boots and a small backpack for provisions and rain protection for the tours.
• A good basic fitness level, surefootedness, and a head for heights are required for this hiking trip.
• The complete overview of booked accommodations is noted on the travel confirmation/invoice and will be sent to the guest by the tour operator via post after booking.
• Communication during the trip is possible in the following languages: German and English.
• The trip is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
• For German nationals, current identification documents apply. All other individuals, please observe the respective passport and visa deadlines. Your embassy will gladly provide information on this.

• Day 1: Individual Arrival in Bad Schandau
  Use the afternoon for a short stroll through the peaceful district of Bad Schandau or take the ferry to the spa town of Krippen. A hike along the Caspar-David-Friedrich-Way is also a great way to start your trekking tour to the highlights of Saxon Switzerland.
• Day 2: Bad Schandau - Schrammsteine - Lichtenhainer Waterfall - Kirnitzschtal  (approx. 13 km, approx. 5.5 hrs)
  The first hiking tour's destination is the Schrammsteine. Here, some steep climbs and metal stairs must be overcome. Having reached Kirnitzschtal, it's only 700 m to Lichtenhainer Waterfall. From here, you can take the bus back to Bad Schandau, where you will spend the night. Alternatively, take the historic Kirnitzschtal tramway. Overnight stay in Bad Schandau
• Day 3: Bad Schandau - Lilienstein - Königstein  (approx. 11 km, approx. 4 hrs)
  Today, take the S-Bahn to Rathen. From Rathen, hike along the banks of the Elbe via the Lottersteig to Lilienstein, the landmark of Saxon Switzerland National Park. From Lilienstein, you have an especially beautiful view of the entire Elbe Sandstone Mountains. After a step-filled descent and a ferry ride to Königstein, a short but steep ascent to the impressive Fortress Königstein follows. Take your time to visit one of the largest mountain fortresses in Europe. Afterwards, take the S-Bahn back to Rathen, where you will stay overnight and enjoy a delicious dinner. • Day 4: Hike Spa Town Gohrisch | Königstein/ Weißig  (approx. 12.5 km, approx. 4.5 hrs)
  The stage leads you through the wild and romantic Polenz Valley. The path through the rocky valley is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Today, you will climb the Hockstein via steps and ladders. You then continue through the Amselgrund and the Schwedenlöcher to the famous Bastei with its rock bridge. Descend into the spa town of Rathen. Overnight stay in Rathen
