Cycling tour on the Elbe Cycle Route

• For organizational reasons, this cycling tour can only be booked up to 7 days before the arrival date.
• The complete overview of the booked accommodations is noted on the travel confirmation/invoice and will be sent to the guest by the tour operator by post only after the booking.
• Communication during the trip is possible in the following languages: German and English.
• The trip is unsuitable for guests with reduced mobility.

• Day 1: Individual arrival in Dresden
  Use the afternoon or evening after your arrival for a stroll through the city, which played an important role in the 1920s in the creation of a new architectural style and a new philosophy of life, the so-called "Bauhaus". The Bauhaus building and the Masters' Houses by Kandinsky, Klee, or Feininger are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  Overnight stay in Dessau-Roßlau
• Day 2: Dessau – Lutherstadt Wittenberg (approx. 40 km)
  At the beginning of your cycling tour, you will reach the UNESCO World Heritage Site Wörlitz Park. Here, a 100-hectare area with islands, canals, temples, and sculptures invites you to linger. Continue on the Elbe Cycle Path to Lutherstadt Wittenberg, which you will reach in the afternoon. This is where Martin Luther's Reformation movement began.

• Day 3: Lutherstadt Wittenberg – Torgau (approx. 70 km)
  Walk in the footsteps of the reformer Martin Luther and visit the places of activity of other Wittenberg personalities such as Phillipp Melanchthon and Lucas Cranach. Then, start your second cycling stage. Through Elster and Pretzsch, you will cycle along the Elbe to the Renaissance city of Torgau.

• Day 4: Torgau – Riesa area (approx. 40-49 km)
  In the former electoral Saxon residence city of Torgau, a morning visit to Hartenfels Castle and the castle church is worthwhile. Then you continue your cycling journey to Belgern, the place with Saxony's only Roland statue. The sports and noodle city of Riesa is your destination for today.

• Day 5: Riesa area – Meißen (approx. 28-36 km)
  Today's cycling tour takes you past picturesque wine villages through the Saxon Elbe Valley. From afar, you will recognize the landmark of Meißen, the castle hill with the cathedral and Albrechtsburg. A visit to the world-famous porcelain manufactory should not be missed today.

• Day 6: Meißen – Dresden (approx. 28 km)
  From the porcelain city of Meißen, today's stage leads you via the Karl May city of Radebeul to Dresden. The "Florence on the Elbe" shines with the world-famous sights of Frauenkirche, Zwinger, Semperoper, and Brühl's Terrace, creating a picturesque silhouette.

• Day 7: Stay in Dresden or excursion to Bad Schandau (approx. 45 km)
  Today you have the opportunity to explore the city of Dresden. Alternatively, we recommend a train ride to Bad Schandau. From here, start your cycling tour along the Elbe and enjoy 45 impressive kilometers. Bizarre rock formations, the Königstein Fortress, the Bastei Bridge, and Pillnitz Castle are just a few of the sights.

• Day 8: Individual return journey or transfer service to Dessau
  After your exciting and unforgettable cycling tour along the Elbe from Dessau to Dresden, today you begin your return journey.
