Wild Treasures of Late Summer
An autumn walk full of discoveries and vibrant moments in nature, because in September nature treats us to a special abundance of wild fruits —small, healing splashes of color that make hedgerows, forest edges, and meadows glow. On our herb walk, we’ll discover the treasures of late summer together: rose hips, elderberries, hawthorn, and many other native wild herbs.
We’ll learn interesting facts about their valuable compounds, their traditional uses in folk medicine, and how to use them. In the process, we’ll sharpen our ability to identify plants safely and practice mindful interaction with nature.
