The views from the Kleiner Winterberg are the epitome of romance, with picturesque pine trees and rock formations that seem to have been arranged by an artist’s hand. The countless steps leading us upward on this autumn morning are the necessary effort required to listen to the distant mating calls of the stags in the valley and to witness the dawning day. With a little luck, fog will settle in the valley. But on all my visits to this fantastic place, there has never been a wasted day. Whether it’s details on the cliffs, sweeping panoramas, or intimate scenes along the trail, there are countless opportunities to experiment with photography.

Under professional guidance, the SIGMA Photo Walk will refresh your knowledge of the basics of photography and, of course, provide numerous tips and tricks on compositional rules. The use of different focal lengths will also be covered. All participants in the SIGMA Photo Walk will be met at their current level of photographic skill. The Photo Walk leader will accompany you on your photographic journey, sharing their expertise and challenging you with exciting assignments. There’s plenty of time to ask individual questions, too!
