Exploring the Sebnitz and Schwarzbach Valleys

Guided tour/sightseeing
An adventure hike along the Sebnitz and Schwarzbach streams, exploring the diverse life in and around the streams

Once upon a time, the Sebnitz was untamed and full of power. Salmon swam through its waters, bears roamed its banks, and people lived in harmony with the river. Today, that connection has been lost—the Sebnitz often flows past us unnoticed, its beauty hidden from many.

On this special hike, we’ll set out together to rekindle the old longing for wild streams. We’ll follow the Sebnitz through its mysterious valley, listen to its stories, and discover what remains—and what might be possible again. Our route also takes us a short distance into the Schwarzbach Valley, home to a stream that flows into the Sebnitz.
