Concert: Scott Weis Band (USA)

Blues Hall of Famer Scott Weis began his career at the famous House of Music Studio in West Orange, New Jersey. Thanks to his outstanding guitar skills, he was discovered shortly thereafter by the Premier Talent Agency and toured in the ’80s and ’90s as a guitarist with renowned artists such as Alice Cooper, ZZ Top, and Celine Dion. His extensive studio work led to musical collaborations—such as with Steve Washington of FUNKADELIC—that continue to this day. Through his work with bands like Junior Wells, Joe Cocker, John Lee Hooker, and Jerry Garcia, Scott gained a wealth of experience. His induction into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2011 honored his own project, the Scott Weis Band—founded in 2005—with which he left critics thoroughly impressed following his 2022 European tour. The Scott Weis Band has an incredible stage presence, and multi-instrumentalist Scott Weis enchants his fans on stages all over the world. The seething soul of Southern blues meets down-to-earth rock, and time and again, country rock and Americana folk also play a part in their overall sound—now for the second time at Q24.
