Between the Steppe and the Starry Sky

Horse Adventures from Around the World

Interactive Reading by and with Josefine Gottwald

Gushing geysers, scorching desert sand, steep cliffs along the fjord, and the endless prairies of North America... Places that seem made for adventures on horseback! Eight boys and girls from different countries find themselves in precarious situations on horseback, must overcome difficult challenges, and above all: be brave and trust in themselves!

Author Josefine Gottwald has been publishing fantastical and adventurous novels since her own school days. She is now an active promoter of Saxon literature, a screenwriter for ZDF children’s television, and a literary educator. She lives in Pirna with a writer, three daughters, and a horse.

The “Horse Adventures” series has already been featured in school auditoriums and outdoor classrooms, at festivals, book fairs, and horse farms. Children can engage in conversation with the author and actively participate in the reading, while viewing the illustrations on the screen.

Recommended age: 6 and up / elementary school
