Short facts

Exhibition "Rural Life in House, Farm and Field"

Under the leadership of Erika and Dieter Mutscher, historical agricultural implements provided by citizens were restored by volunteers and displayed in the Hofmühle building. This was the first step. From 2010 onwards, the rooms of the residential building were gradually renovated and cosily furnished with historical furniture and furnishings, all of which were donated.

A lot of attention to detail and countless hours of free time were invested in making the exhibition "Rural Life in House, Farm and Field" true to the original and lively.

But that s not all. Today traditional events take place every year, such as the Easter market, sauerkraut making, opening for school beginners, open days and guided tours for school classes and similar activities. The Hofmühle is a popular destination for many visitors who can travel back to the 19th century and try out how people back then did their laundry, used their tools, milked cows, learned at school and did their household chores.
