Guided hiking tours

If you really want to get to know a region, it's best to put yourself in the care of an experienced guide. This also applies to the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. There are several providers of guided hikes through the rocky world, including the national park administration, local tourist information centres, certified national park guides and tour guides. Thanks to the different lengths and levels of difficulty, there is a suitable tour for everyone.

Out and about with national park guides

Guided hikes give visitors a deep insight into the natural and historical context of the national park region. The variety of topics is enormous. Certified national park guides cover a large part of the range of guided hikes with their individual, themed hikes.
From the classics, such as the hike to the Schrammsteine, to herb hikes and tours into the remote corners of the national park, everything is included. Many of these offers can be found in the regular hikes, which take place almost daily from April to October. Registration is required by the day before.
