The summit of the Götzinger Höhe, which is 425 meters above sea level, is crowned with an iron tower 25 meters high, which offers a panoramic view as far as the table mountains of Saxon Switzerland and the first peaks of the Lusatian Mountains.

The Götzinger Höhe was originally called Achtlindenberg. It was later renamed in honor of the local historian Wilhelm Leberecht Götzinger (1758-1818), who lived in Neustadt and was the first to describe the view and the entire surrounding area in detail.
Be careful, the chilly air usually brings snow and slippery conditions, so make sure you tread carefully, especially on the spiral staircase.
