The Kipphorn viewpoint is located high above the Elbe valley near the Großer Winterberg and offers a spectacular panorama of and across the Elbe.
The Kipphorn viewpoint is located in the middle of the Saxon Switzerland National Park at an altitude of around 470 meters on the south side of the Großer Winterberg, above Schmilka.
The view here stretches across the Elbe valley to the table mountains on the left bank of the Elbe and the Hoher Schneeberg, as well as across the rocks of the Schmilka basin to the Schrammstein massif on the right bank of the Elbe.
