Viewpoint with monument between Rathewalde and Hohburkersdorf
A hiking trail leads from Rathewalde or Hohburkersdorf to the Hohburkersdorfer Rundblick. This vantage point is 393 metres high and is located in an open landscape, offering views of both Upper Lusatia and Saxon Switzerland as far as the Eastern Ore Mountains. There are two panels on the platform with the panorama to be seen. In the centre of the platform is a memorial to those who died in the First World War, who were born in this area or lived in the region.
