The High Snow Mountain - One of the most beautiful stone lookout towers in the Czech Republic
Originally, it was a spacious first-order triangulation tower built by the owner of the Tetschen dominion, Count Franz Anton von Thun, for the Austrian, Saxon and Prussian surveyors at his own expense. From the beginning, however, the tower was also used for tourism. It is protected as a technical monument. In 1992, the closed, dilapidated tower was reconstructed and reopened to the public. At the lookout tower there is a snack bar, a mining restaurant and a small pond. The summit can be reached from several directions on marked hiking trails.
