The nature trail, created in 1958, was the first of its kind in Saxon Switzerland. The natural history and cultural history information shows the special status of the Kirnitzsch valley.
The hike along the stream is very varied and promises great enjoyment of nature. A number of inns invite you to refresh yourself along the way and keep your exertions in check.

Starting point: Bad Schandau, Kurgarten
End point: Kirnitzschtal, Neumannmühle
Two stages: a) Bad Schandau to Beuthenfall (9 km) , b) Beuthenfall to Neumannmühle (7 km)
