Between mountain peaks and sandstone walls
On one side is the Kneipp spa town of Bad Schandau, on the other the tranquil village of Krippen, one of the Romantic painter Caspar-David Friedrich's favorite places. So begins this classic in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, a boat tour for a relaxing late afternoon. You sail up the Elbe between the imposing rock faces of the Schrammsteine and mountain ridges that lead up towards the Kaiserkrone and Zirkelstein. Enjoy the peace and quiet in the southernmost section of our cruising area, say hello to the Czech Republic and after 90 minutes return to the heart of Saxon Switzerland. The route can be adapted according to the water level of the Elbe.
