Puppet theater for children
"Maturity is the ability to do the right thing even when your parents have recommended it." Paul Watzlawick
This play breathes new life into material that is popular in all genres of theater. In a hybrid form between puppet theater and pantomime, a theatrical experience is created for people of all ages. The "index finger" in the story is neither sawed nor bent. Instead, the ironic underlying tone is teased out to such an extent that the open-minded audience is left in no doubt that Wilhelm Busch was poking fun at the philistines of his time in "Max and Moritz".
The two title characters are played using the mimic puppet technique. F.P. Ulke plays all the other roles as a soloist in the style of French clown theater. The congenial, memorable verses were spoken on tape by the actor U. Kunze.
Playing time: approx. 50 min.
Suitable from 4 years
