Musicians Georg Schütze and Marco Pfennig tell the story of Max and Moritz
The musicians Georg Schütze and Marco Pfennig tell the story of two bad boys who get up to some nasty mischief. One nasty prank follows another, but the two always get away with it laughing. Until the mischief comes to an end in the 7th and final prank and the two boys are punished for their wickedness.
The individual pranks are linked and framed by self-composed pieces of music. With acoustic guitar, percussion and voice, these make specific reference to the misdeeds of Max and Moritz.
Busch embeds the realistic wickedness of the pranks in finely dosed wit and irony in his masterfully rhymed texts and grandiose drawings. Resolved with a moral finger, this story forms a pleasant contrast to today's zeitgeist, entertaining and stimulating.
