ARON BOKS was born in Wernigerode in 1997 and lives as an author, slam poet and presenter in Berlin-Charlottenburg. His book "Nackt in die DDR" was published in 2023, in which he retraces the life of his great-granduncle, the artist and functionary Willi Sitte. The book received a great deal of media attention.
How much GDR is in us? The evening will be framed by Pirna's reading stage collective, the Literary Conspiracy. Lara, Lea, Felix and Juliana will be performing their own poetry slams and talking with Aron Boks about their identity as children of the post-reunification era and their personal perspectives on "the East".
