"Pure Brahms": Duo Dopico performs romantic masterpieces by Johannes Brahms in St. Johanniskirche Bad Schandau.
On Friday, August 29, 2025, at 19:30, the International Bad Schandau Music Summer invites you to a special concert in St. Johanniskirche. Under the title "Pure Brahms - Romantic Masterpieces", Duo Dopico, consisting of Nora Scheidig (violin) and Cristina Allés Dopico (piano), will present a program dedicated entirely to the works of Johannes Brahms.
The concert includes excerpts from Brahms' violin sonatas in G major op. 78, A major op. 100 and D minor op. 108 as well as the Scherzo in C minor from the F.A.E. Sonata and the Hungarian Dance No. 108.Sonata and the Hungarian Dance No. 1. The selection offers a deep insight into the composer's romantic sound world and shows the diversity of his work.

Tickets priced at 10 euros will be available from May 24, 2025 at the Evangelical Lutheran parish office in Bad Schandau and at the Tourist Information Office. Remaining tickets can be purchased at the box office, which opens 30 minutes before the concert begins.
