Reflections on paradise in music, art and literature with Heike Peetz (vocals), Sascha Glintenkamp (vocals and recitation) and Elke Jahn (guitar).
The program uses music, words and images to illuminate a small part of this rich concept. The approach is not scientifically, historically or religiously based. Similar to Modest Mussorgsky's piano cycle "Pictures at an Exhibition", the artists walk to different stations from which they each look at a different angle of the concept of "paradise". Musically, the path leads from H. Purcell to B. Britten, F. Schubert and A. Piazolla, texts are read from the Bible to 21st century literature.
