Viewing rock near Hellendorf - the Zeisigstein offers a wide view of the Bohemian low mountain range and the mountain ranges of Saxon Switzerland.

At 551 m, the Zeisigstein is one of the highest points in Saxon Switzerland. It is located south of Hellendorf on the border with the Czech Republic.
The rock is made of sandstone and can be reached via an iron staircase. The summit offers a wide view in several directions.
It is located off the beaten track and can be reached via hiking trails such as the Forststeig. Access is through forest terrain with some unpaved paths.
There are no buildings at the viewpoint. The surroundings are natural and quiet, sturdy footwear is recommended.
