This vantage point on the Caspar-David-Friedrich-Weg is often called "Hundskirche", although the official name is "Hunskirche". Here two small niches offer a view into the Elbe valley and towards Schmilka. The path between the Hunskirche and Krippen is called Russenleite. It belonged to the estate of the Russian general Roniker, who lived in Krippen around 1870.
