Steel lookout tower with a far-reaching view
Originally, the Götzinger Höhe was called Achtlindenberg. It was later renamed in honour of the local historian Wilhelm Leberecht Götzinger (1758-1818), who lived in Neustadt and was the first to describe the view and the entire surrounding area in detail. Today, a granite block with a plaque and a watercolour in the restaurant commemorate his achievements.
