In July and August, the Pirna-Sonnenstein Memorial offers a free guided tour every day that provides information about the history of the Nazi murders in Pirna.
In around 60 minutes, participants are given an overview of the planning and implementation of the National Socialist "euthanasia" crimes in Pirna-Sonnenstein. The structural remains of the former killing center, where almost 15,000 people were murdered between 1940 and 1941, are presented in the basement area.
All interested parties can take part spontaneously, registration is not required. Meeting point is the stele in front of the entrance to the memorial. Participation is free of charge.
