*shortly confirmed for 12.07.: Reading "Buddenbrooks" A play about a meeting between Franz Kafka and Erich Kästner that never took place.
*Up-to-date information from the host*
A performance of the play "KafKaest" was supposed to take place on Saturday 12.07., but has had to be canceled due to illness.
However, we are delighted to be able to present a great reading at short notice:
Chris Nodin reads scenes from Thomas Mann's "Buddenbrooks" - and brings them into the modern age, spiced up with a few of his own texts.
Look forward to an entertaining, amusing and family-friendly event in a beautiful courtyard atmosphere.
The play will be performed on August 16 at 8 pm :
What would Franz Kafka (Prague) and Erich Kästner (Dresden) have to say to each other - if they met in the middle, (i.e. in the Hinterland Hostel )?
This question will be explored on the occasion of the 100th and 125th anniversaries of the deaths of the two authors. The actors from "Pirna Schreibt e.V." will get to the bottom of this question on the occasion of the 100th and 125th anniversary of the death of the two writers - the answer will be given at several play dates in the courtyard of the Hinterland Hostel.
Admission is free!
