"Knopfgeflüster": Two accordions unfold baroque sound splendor in the St. Johanniskirche Bad Schandau - a musical magic evening in the music summer.

On Friday, August 1, 2025, at 7:30 pm, the International Bad Schandau Music Summer invites you to a special concert in St. Johanniskirche. Under the title "Knopfgeflüster - Musikalischer Zauber auf zwei Akkordeons", two musicians will present a varied program that focuses on the versatility of the accordion.

The artists will interpret works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Astor Piazzolla, Vítězslav Trojan and other composers, making full use of the accordion's tonal possibilities. The interplay between the two instruments creates a unique sound world that combines both baroque and modern elements.

St. Johanniskirche, a historic building with impressive acoustics, provides the ideal setting for this concert. The combination of virtuoso playing and the special ambience of the church promises an unforgettable evening for all music lovers.

Tickets priced at 10 euros are available from May 24, 2025 at the Evangelical Lutheran parish office in Bad Schandau and at the tourist information office. Remaining tickets can be purchased at the box office, which opens 30 minutes before the concert begins.
