Saupsdorfer Hütte

Short facts

  • Sebnitz
  • mountain hut/ski hut
The Saupsdorfer Hut is a self-catering hut of the Alpine Club in the upper Kirnitzschtal and, thanks to a modern heating system, can be used year-round. The listed building was erected around 1818 and belongs to the Saxon Mountaineering Association.
The common room has a tiled stove for cozy hours, which can be used in coordination with the hut keeper (wood and coal should be brought along).
A large screen is installed for slide presentations and training (projector should be brought along). Additional seating areas are available in the house. Right next to it is a kitchen with refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and of course with coffee machine, kettle, and all necessary dishes.
Modern sanitary areas with showers are available for ladies and gentlemen on the ground floor. Additional toilets are located on the first floor. In the outdoor area, alongside tables, benches, and a grill, there is a campfire site available, which can be used in coordination with the hut keeper (wood should be brought along?).
