Creedence Revival Band Bratislava plays CCR
Creedence Clearwater Revival, or CCR for short, are a band for the ages. There is hardly any other formation that has written so many worldwide hits in such a short space of time with so few albums (seven in total). John & Tom Fogerty's American band only existed for six years from 1967 to 1972, after which the musicians went their separate ways. Another little-known fact is that CCR also played at the legendary Woodstock Festival. No Woodstock recordings have captured this. In 2010, four Slovakian musicians came together in Bratislava and have been successfully playing the "Swamprock" hits of the originals as the Creedence Revival Band ever since. Their repertoire includes almost 30 songs, including global hits such as "Proud Mary", "Who'll stop the rain", "Bad moon rising", "Hey tonight" and "Up around the bend".
After 15 years of playing live in CZ and SK, the boys are now looking forward to playing shows in Germany, for the second time at Q24.
