The starting point of the hike is the Waitzdorf Holländerweg bus stop. From there, follow the signs for the Malerweg - along the edge of the forest towards Waitzdorfer Aussicht, which offers a sweeping view of the surrounding countryside. About 200 meters further on, the trail leads through the forest to the second viewpoint above the Lärmchenturm tower.
The circular trail then continues past a large clearing and meets the Mühlweg. Keep left there, leave the Malerweg and follow the red line back to the starting point at the bus stop. In the village, you can stop for a bite to eat at the Waitzdorfer Schänke.
The hiking trails are not cleared of ice and snow. Please refrain from the winter hike in icy conditions.
