Collecting Malerweg Trail stamps and postcards

There a lot of different things you can “collect” on the Malerweg Trail: Miles and great moments, but also stamps and picture postcards. The passion for collecting seems to be in our genes. Our partner facilities along the Malerweg Trail are certified as “Hiker-friendly along the Malerweg Trail”. Restaurants and inns, hotels or tourist information points have the little stamp for the relevant stage ready for you. Ask for the free collectable picture postcard for this stage! If In the end you have collected all of the eight different historic motifs you assemble your personal mini gallery.

The Malerweg Trail Hiking Pass

The Malerweg Trail hiking pass is extremely popular. A stamp at the end of each stage is not only a precious souvenir but also serves as proof in black and white of your Malerweg Trail hiking tour. You can collect your personal certificate at the tourist information point in the town of Pirna. This document is issued even for only one completed stage. Those having collected all eight stage stamps are rewarded with a little exclusive souvenir.

The hiking pass is available as a download. Apart from that you find it on the last page of the hiking brochure which is available in all local tourist information points or can be sent home to you by post.
