The starting point for the hike is the Reinhardtsdorf Ehrenmal bus stop. From here, the trail leads past the book box and continues for a short distance along the Uckerleite (marked with a blue dot). After about 200 metres, turn off, cross the main road and you will reach the Grundweg.
From here, follow the Malerweg. Behind the last houses, the trail climbs to the right up to the Neue Siedlung. Continue along the Forstamtsweg to the outskirts of the village, where you cross the Reinhardtsdorfer Bach. This small tributary of the Elbe used to feed several mills in the valley.
The terrain now opens up. The path passes a small pond and leads to an old pasture tree – a relic of the forest pastures that were common in the past.
Soon you will reach Wolfsberg with its traditional hotel. The 343-metre-high mountain has been a popular destination for excursions since the 19th century. The first taverns were established here around 1890. The current building dates from the 1920s. From the terrace, the view stretches far beyond the Schrammsteine and Affensteine rocks to Bohemia.
From Wolfsberg, the Salzleckenweg (marked with a red dot) continues to a refuge hut. The name is reminiscent of the time when herds of cattle grazed here and absorbed minerals at salt licks. At the refuge hut, turn left onto Schlosserhübelweg and you will easily return to Reinhardtsdorf.
In the village, the route passes the Waldstadion, which was built in the 1950s, and follows Waldbadstraße to the bus stop, where the hike ends.
