The Elbe Sandstone Mountains are the best proof that mountains and accessibility do not exclude each other at all. Handicapped persons find everything here needed for memorable activity holidays.

There are many options for wheelchair users to do lengthy hikes to magnificent viewing points in the National Park region. Also for persons with visual or hearing impairs activity options have been developed ranging from therapeutic horse riding over barn lodging and archery for blind people.

This brochure provides an overview of touristic activities for travellers with reduced mobility and sensory impairments, as well as for people with mental or learning disabilities.

All listed offers of accessibility in Saxon Switzerland have been verified and clearly and concisely compiled by tourist association staff members with the intention to share the magic of this region with ALL. All topics relevant for the planning of accessible holidays are included: mobility, lodging, information points as well as activity options, cultural events and spare time offers.

Travellers with mobility impairs find a detailed description of accessibility to all listed activities to plan their trip according to their individual requirements.
