A relaxed day trip by bike away from the usual highlights in the Vordere Sächsische Schweiz (Saxon Switzerland): It goes from the baroque garden Großsedlitz via the Mittellandroute (D4) to Graupa. The Richard Wagner Museum is waiting here. Passing ice cream parlours and farm shops (with cute little calves), we get a taste of National Park air on the way to Stadt Wehlen for a swim. The crowning glory: an after-work drink with a view of the Elbe and the fortress in Königstein.
