**Sustainable Destination**
===========================

**Working together for the region**

We love our natural environment and therefore want to help preserve the unique natural and cultural landscape of Saxon Switzerland for the long term, together with our partner businesses and guests. Saxon Switzerland has been certified as a “Sustainable Destination” by TourCert since 2021. The certification is reviewed and renewed every three years; the next recertification is scheduled for October 2027.
During their stay, our guests can discover the region in a variety of ways: the mobile guest card provides convenient travel by bus, train and ferry throughout the region; certified national park guides offer opportunities to explore the distinctive features of the national park’s core zone and roam its rocky landscape; and savouring a regional dish reveals the hosts’ deep connection to their homeland.
Sometimes, however, it is simply the little things that make a holiday special. With us, you can relax and …

**As close to nature as possible**
----------------------------------

A holiday in nature offers respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and allows us to relax once again. Fresh air, the rustling of the trees and birdsong define the atmosphere of Saxon Switzerland. The beauty of the landscape moves many people deeply, and by behaving responsibly, we can help reduce the impact on this wonderful natural environment: avoiding unnecessary noise and keeping to designated hiking and cycling trails are important first steps. Picking up litter and taking it home is another. In this way, we help respect sensitive habitats and preserve the unique landscape of Saxon Switzerland.
