Gorges, craggy rock faces, fallen stones

A romantic and adventurous gorge with gorge-like rock alleys and craggy walls overcomes 700 steps and a height difference of 160m from the Bastei to the Amselrund (or the other way round). The Schwedenlöcher got its name during the Thirty Years' War, when the inhabitants of the neighbouring villages hid here from the Swedes with their belongings.
